Import an existing manuscript

Already have a book draft? Bring in the file instead of copying each chapter by hand.

1. In Library, open New work.
2. Open the top-right menu and choose Import TXT/EPUB.
3. Select a .txt or .epub file and wait for the import to finish.
4. Open the imported work and check its title, chapter breaks, and text.

Check a few chapters closely, especially headings and line breaks. Keep your original file too.

The work page also has an Import draft entry for adding text to an existing work. It is different from importing a whole book when creating a new work.
