Keep your characters consistent

You do not need a complete biography before starting a book. Add a character when they matter.

1. Open a work and go to Characters.
2. Add a character. Begin with a name, role, and current goal.
3. When relationships change, return to the character or relationship view.
4. Before the next chapter, check the goals and relationships of people in the scene.

Start with three questions: What do they want? Who stands in their way? How will this change them?
